The Maverick Theater in Fullerton is a great place to go if you enjoy a night out at the theater. Joseph Musil, whom works with Disney and Regal Cinemas, recreated a 1920s Cabaret Stage which more appropriately showcases musicals and lighter fare performed on the stage. which leads to the theaters main stage. The Cabaret, which leads to the main theater, has tables and a bar, which makes for a very comfortable setting and allows you to marvel at the design by Musil.
On Fridays, starting at 11:00 pm, “Improve Shmimprov” allows for audience members to get involved in the act. For a mere $5 the audience can throw out suggestions and watch as the actor/comedian turns your suggestions into something unique and entertaining. For some late-night fun, this is a great ticket, and is guaranteed to be different each and every time you see the show.
